Behind the clean · Field note 26
Tell your cleaner once. Write it well.
A useful home note is short, specific, and easy for the next cleaner to act on. Record the instruction and the reason when it affects the method.

A method worth keeping
Three deliberate steps.
01
Name the exact area
Write “kitchen island, sealed marble” rather than “be careful in the kitchen.” Include approved products or the manufacturer instructions if known.
02
Separate preferences from priorities
Preferences stay useful each visit. Priorities are what matters today. Say which rooms, objects, or tasks are outside the agreed scope.
03
Keep access information private
Use the authorized secure channel for entry details. Review outdated notes and confirm changes before the next visit.
A little help goes a long way
Let us take care of the clean.
Always follow the surface maker’s care instructions and product label. Never mix cleaning products. This guide is for ordinary household care, not hazardous-material remediation. Product-specific instructions take priority.
