Map the clean before the gathering.
A gathering creates predictable traffic: the entry, bathroom, kitchen, and seating area. Plan those zones around food preparation and arrival time so work does not have to be repeated.

A method worth keeping
Three deliberate steps.
01
Work backward from arrival
Identify the spaces guests will use. Finish slower drying tasks early and leave the final floor pass until cooking and setup are mostly complete.
02
Clean and stock the route
Reset the bathroom, clear entry clutter, and prepare the seating area. Keep food-preparation surfaces separate from the rest of the cleaning kit.
03
Do the last walkthrough
Check lighting, dry floors, towels, soap, paper, bins, and a place for coats. Leave one small cleanup kit ready for the event.
A little help goes a long way
Let us take care of the clean.
Always follow the surface maker’s care instructions and product label. Never mix cleaning products. This guide is for ordinary household care, not hazardous-material remediation. Product-specific instructions take priority.
