A floor can shine and still be sticky.
Residue, loose grit, and excess moisture can make a floor feel worse after mopping. Match the method to the flooring and use the label’s dilution, not an extra splash.
Your kitSuitable vacuum or soft broom; microfiber mop; floor-approved cleaner

A method worth keeping
Three deliberate steps.
01
Take out the grit
Pick up items and remove loose debris with a tool approved for the floor. Check wheels and mop pads for trapped grit.
02
Control the moisture
Prepare the cleaner exactly as directed. Use a well-wrung pad and work in small sections; avoid pooling at joints and edges.
03
Let it dry and inspect
Keep traffic off until dry. Check for residue at the edges of each section. If rinsing is required by the product, use a clean pad and follow the floor maker’s instructions.
A little help goes a long way
Let us take care of the clean.
Always follow the surface maker’s care instructions and product label. Never mix cleaning products. This guide is for ordinary household care, not hazardous-material remediation. Product-specific instructions take priority.
